Water Network Upgrade Specialist

This opportunity is for an experienced professional to join our team in Wicklow/Kildare and surrounding areas, overseeing upgrades to the water network.

Due to ongoing contract awards, we have a requirement for Water Network Upgrade Specialists to supervise projects throughout Ireland. Successful candidates will be placed on work close to home where possible; however travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To review, advise and supervise upgrades to the water network, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • To oversee the design, construction and supervision of similar utilities, water network upgrades, surveys / investigations, environmental works etc.
  • To ensure that all projects are completed within time, budget and quality parameters.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' postgraduate experience in Utilities/Water/Wastewater/Environmental engineering projects.
  • A qualification in a related discipline, such as Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering.
  • Knowledge of watermain repair and replacement works would be desirable.
  • Capable of writing clear and concise reports and keeping works records.
  • Strong knowledge and experience of Health and Safety procedures and regulations.
  • A current and valid SafePass card is essential, Confined Spaces training etc. can be provided.
