Food Reformulation Specialist Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Food Reformulation Specialist to undertake microbiological testing of nutritional supplements and ensure compliance with USP standards.

The ideal candidate will analyze data from water testing and microbial enumeration tests to identify trends and areas for improvement, and develop process design, facilities, equipment, and sanitation protocols to prevent contamination and maintain product safety.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new product formulations and reformulations that meet regulatory requirements, and recommend microbial limits for botanical ingredients and products based on formulation and process design.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the food and nutritional supplements industry
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
