Senior Electrical Engineer Position

We seek a senior electrical engineer to lead the development of electrical components for medical devices. The ideal candidate will have extensive technical expertise and experience in electrical engineering.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Design and develop electrical components, circuits, and systems that meet regulatory requirements and product specifications.
  2. Develop and implement circuit and electrical system test methods to ensure quality and reliability.
  3. Collaborate with the team on prototyping, bench testing, and problem-solving to identify potential solutions.
  4. Lead research and studies under supervision to support product design and development.
Leadership Skills Required

The successful candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, including the ability to interpret customer needs, understand design inputs, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Technical Expertise Necessary

A deep understanding of fundamental industry standards, design requirements, and test strategies that align with regulatory requirements is essential. The candidate will also be responsible for developing or refining engineering documentation, such as Design History files, and learning R&D procedures like design controls and risk management.

Collaboration Required

This role necessitates collaboration with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Clinical, Marketing, and Project Management to ensure project success.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of work experience in the field of electrical engineering.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Advanced knowledge of electrical components and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical diagrams.
  • Understanding of the electrical design process.
  • Knowledge of design and concept generation CAD, CAE, or simulation tools.
  • Knowledge of analysis tools and statistical methods.
  • Knowledge of system components and associated requirements.
