Job Summary

This position is accountable for designing and implementing instrumentation systems for biopharmaceutical processes and utilities.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate new instruments to ensure functional equivalence to existing equipment.
  • Collaborate in developing and maintaining configuration specifications and standards for cGMP manufacturing instrumentation.
  • Familiarize yourself with common process and utilities instrumentation, including load cells, pressure transmitters/gauges, pH sensors, dissolved oxygen sensors, temperature sensors, mass flow meters, UV analyzers, conductivity sensors, TOC analyzers, and level sensors.
  • Specify cGMP instrumentation for new installations and upgrades of existing equipment with additional functionality, including instrument components and spare parts.

As a Senior/Principal Instrumentation Engineer, you will possess strong analytical and organizational skills. You will have logical troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and the capacity to interact cross-functionally.

Prior experience with biopharmaceutical process and utilities systems is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field along with 5+ years of experience for a Senior Engineer position and 8+ years of experience for a Principal Engineer position are required.
