Strategic Purchasing Coordinator

A challenging opportunity has arisen for an experienced Strategic Purchaser to manage daily purchasing and stock control activities, aligning procurement strategies with business objectives.
The successful candidate will play a key role in coordinating the full lifecycle of Purchase Orders (PO) from initiation to delivery.
Key responsibilities include monitoring sales trends and maintaining ideal stock levels using system-generated re-order reports. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing purchasing forecasts for both short- and long-term planning, collaborating with internal teams to manage and reduce aged stock.
Additionally, the successful candidate will serve as the first point of contact for purchasing-related queries from suppliers and internal teams, maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a purchasing, buying, or supply chain coordination role.
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and stock control methods.
- Background in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Inventory Management Software, ERP, or WMS systems.
- Ability to prepare clear, data-driven reports for management.
