Job Title: Fitters Mate

\

The successful candidate will join our team to work on various projects across Munster, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services. We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to fill this key role.

\

Key Responsibilities:

  • \
  • To work as part of a team in the delivery of one or more projects at any given time.\
  • To ensure Health, Safety, Environmental & Sustainability standards, policies, and procedures are adhered to on-site.\
  • To install pipework and brackets, mechanical equipment, and mechanical maintenance.\
  • To work alongside qualified experienced Mechanical Fitters/Fabricators with onsite fabrication and installation.\
  • To have an awareness of best practice housekeeping and make a conscious effort to uphold housekeeping on site.\
  • To liaise closely with the project delivery engineering team on-site, HSQE advisor, and management to ensure safe and timely delivery of duties.\
  • To ensure a positive experience for clients and their representatives, instilling an ethos of collaboration, cooperation, and respect.\
  • To perform other duties as required from time to time.\
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:\
    • \
    • A minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role, preferably in utilities/water and wastewater industry.\
    • Experience on Irish Water projects is a distinct advantage.\
    • Manual handling and safe pass are required.\
    • Trailer Licence, Telehandler, MEWP, abrasive wheel tickets must be up to date and considered advantageous.\
    • A basic understanding of health and safety standards and the ability to embrace the safety ethos of the organization.\
    • Ability to work well as part of a team and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.\
    • Full Driving Licence.\
