Key Accountabilities:
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the main kitchen while adhering to HACCP systems and cleaning specifications.
  • Work collaboratively with the EHO and other departments to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and record temperature control, fridge and hot/cold food temperatures, and report any discrepancies to the Head Chef/Supervisor.
  • Support chefs and other staff members in their duties and assist with ordering stock from Stores in line with Hospital policy.
Person Specification:
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing situations.
  • Basic but sound understanding of food hygiene principles.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and discretion.
