Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Field Service Engineer with expertise in chemistry. This position requires providing technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting services for water treatment equipment and systems at client sites.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: The successful candidate will install, commission, and maintain water treatment equipment and systems, including chemical feed systems, filtration units, and disinfection systems. Routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and calibration will be performed to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Technical Support: Our ideal candidate will provide technical assistance to clients regarding the operation, troubleshooting, and optimization of water treatment processes. They will respond promptly to service requests, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
  • Chemical Management: The chosen candidate will manage chemical treatment programs for water treatment processes, including the selection, dosing, and monitoring of chemicals to achieve desired water quality parameters. Chemical analysis and adjustments to treatment processes will be conducted as needed to meet performance targets and regulatory requirements.
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices for water treatment operations is essential. Accurate records of service activities, chemical usage, and water quality data will be maintained. Technical reports and documentation will be prepared for internal and external stakeholders as required.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the water treatment industry, with knowledge of chemical treatment processes and equipment.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues related to water treatment equipment and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate project requirements.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required.
