We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our staff, customers, and premises.

About Us:

The Mercantile Group operates a number of unique venues in Dublin City Centre, including Café en Seine, Opium, Pichet, NoLita, Whelan's, and The George. Our team is committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences and providing a safe and enjoyable environment for all visitors.

Responsibilities:

  • Patrol designated areas to ensure the safety and security of staff and customers.
  • Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly.
  • Complete incident reports and required documentation for security incidents.
  • Ensure all employees and visitors have proper credentials for accessing buildings (ID badges and passes).
  • Respond to emergencies and incidents within designated areas promptly and according to policy.
  • Assist employees and visitors with any concerns they may have.
  • Escalate emergency situations to law enforcement as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar position.
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to adapt to new procedures and changes.
  • Professional conduct at all times.
  • Fully flexible working hours, including weekends and late nights.
  • Excellent understanding of Health & Safety and licensing requirements.
  • Fluent English language skills.
