We are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to children in an acute hospital setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering specialised occupational therapy assessments and interventions for paediatric patients. They will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to support children's rehabilitation, functional independence, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualised intervention plans for paediatric patients
- Provide rehabilitation services to children recovering from orthopaedic procedures and medical conditions
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic patient care
- Educate and support families on therapy techniques to enhance the child's recovery and development
- Maintain accurate documentation and contribute to service planning and development
- Degree in Occupational Therapy and CORU registration
- Minimum of 3 years post-qualification experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Previous experience working in an acute hospital setting in Ireland is highly desirable
- Strong clinical reasoning, communication, and teamwork skills
- Experience in paediatric rehabilitation, orthopaedics, or related areas is highly desirable
