Technical Lead Opportunity

The successful candidate will take ownership of the technical direction of a core backend domain, ensuring alignment with business priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive technical strategy for a key domain, leading to improved efficiency and scalability.
  • Lead solution design and architecture across distributed systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams and offshore partners.
  • Champion code quality, scalability, and long-term maintainability through best practices and guidance.
  • Guide and mentor engineers through code reviews, solutioning, and knowledge sharing.
  • Represent your domain in cross-team discussions, driving continuous improvement and standardization.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of backend development experience with PHP 7/8, including modern frameworks like Symfony.
  • 2+ years' exposure as a technical lead or domain owner, with strong leadership skills.
  • Deep understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, clean coding practices, and relational database modeling.
  • Experience with asynchronous processing, messaging queues, containerized environments, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong grasp of SOLID principles, design patterns, and software design best practices.
