Structural Design Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Structural Design Specialist to join our team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality structural designs for various projects.

Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop structural elements using AutoCAD/Revit, ensuring compliance with relevant building codes and regulations.

You will work closely with senior engineers, clients, contractors, and consultants to provide technical support and ensure project success.

In addition to your design expertise, you will assist with drawing queries from estimating and commercial teams, ensuring seamless communication throughout the project lifecycle.

To succeed in this role, you should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in structural design, preferably with experience in cold-formed steel and structural steel elements.

A degree in Civil or Structural Engineering is essential, along with working knowledge of UK building regulations, British Standards, and Eurocodes.

Proficiency in MS Excel and experience with structural software such as Tedds and MasterSeries are highly advantageous.
