Job Description:

As a Senior HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for promoting safe working practices and managing the implementation of company Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policy and procedures on the project.

This role requires an experienced professional to oversee the implementation of HSE policies and procedures on the project, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Support
    • Oversee the activities of all site safety advisors under your control, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Promote Safe Working Practices
    • Implement and manage the company's HSE policy and procedures on the project, promoting a culture of safety among project team members.
  • HSE Inspections and Reporting
    • Conduct regular site HSE inspections and report findings to relevant personnel, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • HSE Documentation and Plans
    • Ensure that all project team members have access to relevant HSE documentation and that project plans meet company standards for HSE performance.
  • Risk Assessments and Evaluations
    • Assist the site management team and sub-contractor owners with risk assessments and sub-contractor evaluations, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Level 8 Qualification in Health and Safety
    • Hold a Level 8 qualification in health and safety or a related field.
  • Postgraduate Experience
    • Have at least 8 years' postgraduate experience in project HSE management, with a proven track record of delivering safe and compliant projects.
  • Chartered Membership
    • Be a chartered member of a recognized health and safety institution, demonstrating expertise and commitment to the profession.
  • Communication and Leadership
    • Have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate complex information effectively at all levels within the organization.
