Job Title: Senior Spa Massage Therapist

This is a highly sought-after position that offers the opportunity to provide exceptional wellness therapies and treatments in a luxury spa setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in massage therapy, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality service.

  • Deliver a variety of spa services, including massages, facials, manicures, and other treatments
  • Maintain equipment and sample inventory of products, ensuring that treatment rooms and wider spa areas are clean, well-stocked, safe, and hygienic
  • Monitor and control stock levels, making sure to replenish when necessary
  • Provide direct support to the spa manager, including assisting with stock ordering and training of staff
  • Act as a role model for junior level therapists, helping to mentor and train new starters
Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of this role include carrying out all tasks in accordance with procedures outlined in the Department Standards Manual, delivering a variety of spa services, maintaining equipment and product inventory, monitoring and controlling stock levels, providing direct support to the spa manager, and acting as a role model for junior level therapists.

Communication and Teamwork:

This role requires effective communication with all departments, particularly Front Office, to ensure seamless service delivery. It also involves bringing customer comments and issues to the attention of your Head of Department, identifying maintenance issues and reporting accordingly.

Health and Safety:

The successful candidate will have full knowledge of and be able to act upon the Hotel & Golf Links Fire and Health and Safety Procedures. They will also uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations, report and act on incidents, accidents, fire, loss or damage.

Occasional Duties:

In addition to the main responsibilities, the successful candidate will carry out any other reasonable duties as requested by a member of the management team, attend meetings and training sessions, including Portmarnock Resort and Jameson Golf Links Training.
