Job Description

A prominent law firm seeks an exceptional Banking and Finance Associate to join their Dublin-based team on a six-month fixed-term contract.

This exciting opportunity will allow the successful candidate to contribute to various transactions, including fund finance facilities and structures, leveraged acquisition financing, real estate investment and development financing, and more.

  • Fund Finance Facilities: Assist with advising clients on complex fund finance facilities, including direct lending by private credit funds.
  • Leveraged Acquisition Financing: Support senior lawyers with advising clients on leveraged acquisition financing transactions.
  • Real Estate Investment and Development Financing: Work on matters related to real estate investment and development financing.
  • Enforcement Strategies: Provide expert advice on enforcement strategies, standstill arrangements, and restructurings.
  • Clients and Transactions: Act for a diverse client base, comprising domestic and international clients, and advise on both lender and borrower sides of transactions.
  • Business Development: Engage in business development activities, promoting the firm and identifying opportunities for new work and cross-selling.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 4+ years' post-qualification experience in banking and finance.
  • Strong academic background, with excellent written communication and drafting skills.
  • Excellent technical knowledge and a strong commercial awareness.
  • Highly organised, with strong transactional management skills, self-motivated, and team-orientated.
