We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the efficient running of our nursing home.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for assessing the social and health care needs of new clients and maintaining ongoing assessments and reviews. You will also ensure that each client has an individualized care plan, which is reviewed regularly in accordance with An Bord Altranais guidelines and company policy.

You will work closely with clients, relatives, and other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support. This includes administering prescribed medicines, documenting treatment plans, and promoting safe working practices within the nursing home.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current registration with An Bord Altranais
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Genuine interest in working with relevant client groups
  • Desirable skills include experience or qualification in care for relevant client categories, knowledge of HIQA standards, and previous supervisory experience
