Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst Role
Join a leading financial institution as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Analyst and contribute to protecting networks, systems, applications, information, and reputation in real-time. Reporting into the manager for Cyber Threat Intelligence, you will provide expert advice to the wider teams on threat research, monitoring, and operational response capabilities.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Security Analyst with expertise in incident response within the Cyber Security field. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as familiarity with security threat monitoring tools.


Key Accountabilities
  • Generate actionable threat intelligence and situational awareness of cyber threats, including responsibility for defining, developing, and implementing techniques to discover and track threat actors and identify future attacks.
  • Apply analytical understanding of attacker tactics, system vulnerabilities, and attack indicators to produce metrics and reporting on the state of system security, threat, and alerts.
  • Identify cyberspace trends related to adversary techniques, targeting, and malware.
  • Design and deliver actionable Information Security dashboards and scorecards and analyze data sources to recommend optimal data sources for relevant reporting.
  • Respond to security alerts and incidents, pinpointing root causes and providing solutions, adhering to defined workflows and processes for incident response and mitigation.

Minimum Criteria
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT Security or has relevant industry experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in incident response within the Cyber Security field.
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with security threat monitoring tools.
  • In-depth knowledge of Cyber Crime and IT Security-related issues, including legal aspects such as data privacy.
