System Engineer Role Overview

Join a team of innovative professionals to take on the challenge of defining and improving precision software tools. The Precision Studio team is seeking a Senior System Engineer with expertise in analog electronics and system-level design.

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive projects forward self-sufficiently. You will collaborate closely with developers and modelers to create high-quality software that meets customer needs.

The ideal candidate has experience in electronic product design, board layout, debug, and delivery to customers. A background in software development and circuit design is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solicit feedback from customers and sales teams to improve tool functionality.
  • Develop engineering equations for tool implementation.
  • Create circuit diagram schematics and define web application user interfaces.
  • Define modeling requirements and divide projects into manageable tasks.
  • Test software to ensure validation and verification.
  • Market tools through application notes, customer visits, and sales team training.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in electronic product design or a technical, customer-facing role.
  • Experience in building boards with analog circuitry, including design, layout, debug, and delivery.
  • Background in software development, with proficiency in translating engineering equations into code.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
