Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Maintenance Professional to join our team.

  • Maintain, repair and commission a full range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
  • Adhere to statutory & legislative requirements, health & safety standards, appliance codes of practice.
  • Responsibility for the maintenance, repair and commissioning of full range of HVAC and Refrigeration equipment.
  • Deliver exceptional service to customers while working on equipment.
  • Ensure all customer equipment is in perfect working order, efficient and effective.
  • Travel within region to collect parts etc.
  • Responsibility for installation and servicing of HVAC equipment, mainly data centres.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management as necessary.
  • Escalate risk items to direct report.
  • Ensure customer facilities and services are made available according to contract specification.
  • Liaise with specialists and suppliers in relation to industry and manufacturing requirements.
  • Ensure continuous professional development.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in senior service HVAC technician role.
  • Experience working on large commercial projects.
  • Proven experience with servicing HVAC equipment.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem solving, diagnostic abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on assignments.
  • Good documentation practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Strong leadership, people management skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Working knowledge of VSDs and conventional motor starter controls.
  • Understanding of BMS systems and other control systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings.
  • Electrical and mechanical building service experience required.
  • Professional certificates desirable.
  • Familiarity with PC based tools.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer focus, good interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritise duties and work under pressure.
  • Fault finding and problem-solving techniques.
  • Willingness to work as part of a team, self-motivated and professional.
  • Rotating on call cover required.
