This is an exciting opportunity to join Cpl Healthcare's team as a Special Care Worker in their special care services in Dublin West (Lucan) and North (Portrane). The selected candidate will work with vulnerable young people aged 11-17 years, providing short-term intervention and promoting their physical, emotional, social, and educational welfare.

As a Special Care Worker, you will participate in the development and implementation of Care and Placement Plans, ensuring the rights and welfare of each young person are promoted. You will also work in a secure, therapeutic environment prioritising safe care.

Responsibilities:

  3. Work in a secure, therapeutic environment prioritising safe care
Requirements:
  • Minimum QQI Level 7 in Social care or related qualification
  • Or hold one of the following with 18 months practice in the previous five years:
  • Youth and Community work qualification
  • BA (Hons) Youth and Community Development
  • BA (Hons) Psychology
  • Addiction Studies (Level 7)
  • BA (Hons) Counselling and Addiction Studies
  • Disability Diploma (Primary Care)
  • Degree in Social Science (minimum Level 7)
  • Social Care Qualification (Level 6)
