Senior Medical Device Buyer

We are seeking an experienced Buyer Planner to support our program. This is a part-time position that requires strong analytical and organizational skills.
The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the medical device development industry and be able to work closely with our team.
Responsibilities include analysing build plans, negotiating best pricing and lead times with suppliers, and expediting material deliveries to meet build plan requirements.
Additional responsibilities include booking deliveries onto the purchasing system, issuing material to production, maintaining computerised purchasing databases, and monitoring supplier performance.
Work closely with R&D on supplier/material selection and collaborate with internal stakeholders to address material or quality issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum three years' experience in a professional buying position along with experience in material management.
- Experience working in a GMP/Medical Device environment.
- Proficient understanding of MRP and familiarity with product specifications.
- Strong influencing and negotiating skills, as well as effective verbal and written communication skills.
