As a visionary leader, you will spearhead the development and implementation of our sustainability strategy. You will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders, providing expert guidance on sustainable best practices, ensuring that sustainability principles are integrated into all aspects of project design and delivery.

A key part of the role will involve overseeing sustainability assessments, energy modeling, and carbon reduction strategies, ensuring the highest standards of environmental performance across all projects. You will ensure compliance with global sustainability certifications, such as LEED, BREEAM, and WELL, while continuously driving innovation in energy-efficient solutions and life cycle assessments.

As the leader of the sustainability function, you will mentor and manage a team of sustainability engineers and consultants, fostering a culture of professional growth and collaboration. You will also serve as the company's ambassador, building partnerships with external organizations and representing the firm at industry events, showcasing its commitment to creating sustainable, long-term solutions.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in sustainability, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership or managerial role
  • Proven track record of managing sustainability strategies within the design or consultancy sectors
  • Deep understanding of sustainability frameworks and certifications
  • Expertise in energy modeling, carbon footprint assessments, and life cycle analysis
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A visionary mindset, with a proven ability to lead sustainability innovation and change management
