**Job Title:** Manufacturing Technician

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position for an experienced technician looking to join a dynamic team. As an Experienced Maintenance Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to the success of our production processes.

You will work from technical manuals, specifications, drawings/diagrams, written and verbal instructions utilizing a variety of tools, test equipment, problem solving techniques and communication. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Performing functions associated with all wafer production including operations, equipment, process and training.
  • Maintenance and repair of equipment, troubleshooting defects, and other duties as required to support production objectives.
  • Working well in a diverse team environment and multitasking.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong appetite to learn new skills and adapt to changing processes.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and be comfortable presenting issues and solutions.
  • Skills to produce results in a timely manner and meet deadlines.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A National Framework Qualification (NFQ) L6/L7 qualification in a technical discipline.
  • At least 3+ years of experience performing hands-on preventative, corrective maintenance in a highly regulated environment.
Preferred Experience

We are seeking candidates with:

  • Experience in performing hands-on preventative, corrective maintenance on Semiconductor equipment.
  • Demonstrated skills to influence the content and creation of new specs, procedures, and business processes related to equipment maintenance.

This role involves working a monthly rotating shift pattern and requires occasional travel for varying durations depending on business needs.
