Chief Executive Officer Job Description

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of one of Ireland's leading theatre companies.

Ambitious leaders are invited to apply for the position of Chief Executive Officer, where they will be responsible for driving the company's vision and mission forward.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a strong track record of achievement in leading cultural organisations, with expertise in strategic planning, business development, and team leadership.

They will work closely with the Artistic Director to ensure the successful execution of the company's artistic vision, while also providing operational leadership and direction to the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive the company's growth and success.
  • Lead and manage the executive team, ensuring effective decision-making and collaboration across the organisation.
  • Build and maintain key relationships with stakeholders, including funders, partners, and suppliers.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading cultural organisations, with a strong understanding of the sector's challenges and opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
  • Strong financial management skills, with the ability to develop and manage budgets and resources effectively.
  • Creative flair and enthusiasm for the arts, with a passion for innovation and excellence.
