Company Overview
BrightWork is an Worker Owned Cooperative in the Project Management business with customers such as US Postal Service, Amazon, DHL, United Nations in Europe, Australia and the Middle-East.
We accompany our customers to achieve their desired business outcomes by helping mature Project and Portfolio Management practices with our BrightWork 365 product for the Microsoft 365 platform and with Deployment Assistance.

Role Summary
We are seeking a growth and innovation oriented CEO to give leadership and to accompany us on our ambitious multi-year plan to 2030 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop, execute and evolve the company's strategic vision and annual and multi-year business plan.
Market Expansion:
Initial phases: Drive growth in our core North American and European markets.
Later phases: Expand our footprint in Asia and Africa.
Customer Focus:
Be obsessed with customer success and retention.
Team Leadership:
Inspire and lead a diverse team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
Relationship Building:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners and Microsoft.
Identify and develop partnerships to enhance our growth potential.
Talent Acquisition:
Coach our teams to attract and retain top talent.
Financial Oversight:
Support the CFO and oversee the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Cooperative Leadership:
Work with our Cooperative Coordinator to ensure we are maturing our Cooperative culture.
Qualifications
Experience:
Proven track record as a CEO or senior executive in the software industry, with specific experience in project management solutions and ideally the Microsoft 365 platform.
Leadership:
Strong strategic thinking, leadership, and communication skills.
International:
Ability to navigate both the US and European business environments.
Commercial:
Strong commercial partnership and negotiation experience dealing with customer and partnersat the highest level.
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 and cloud technologies.
Education:
Advanced degree in business, technology, or a related field is preferred.

Travel Friendly:
With our distributed teams (US and Ireland) and with distributed customers and partners - travel will be necessary.

Join us and be an equal Co-Owner in one year.
Transition
The current CEO will stay as long as the new CEO requires help with a smooth transition (but no longer).
Thereafter the current CEO will be available to support the new CEO for designated projects if the new CEO wishes.
The current CEO will remain as a Company Director and a Cooperative Trustee.
