Electrical Project Lead

We are seeking a seasoned Electrical Project Lead to manage multiple high-voltage projects, including substations and underground works. The ideal candidate will oversee teams, ensure timely delivery, and maintain exceptional safety, quality, budget, and schedule standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise electrical projects within specified constraints
  • Maintain compliance with contractual and safety regulations
  • Oversee project costings, subcontractor claims, and financial reporting
  • Provide regular progress updates and lead internal/client meetings
  • IDentify and mitigate project risks
  • Plan and allocate resources effectively
  • Collaborate with the SHEQ Manager on all safety, health, environment, and quality matters
  • Support business development and tendering activities

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' MV/HV experience, preferably with substation and site-level background
  • Strong technical knowledge of 33kV and above
  • Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Project a plus)
  • A motivated leader with clear goal orientation
  • Degree in electrical engineering or management advantageous

Working Environment:

The projects are based in the Munster/Leinster region, requiring frequent site visits. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders, including clients, colleagues, and contractors.
