Key Responsibilities- To undertake regular checks with healthcare assistants within the community, ensuring high standards of care are maintained.
- To conduct client reviews in relation to the ongoing care they receive, addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Effective communication and collaboration with the Quality and Compliance team regarding HIQA and incident management procedures.
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with the HSE and other relevant stakeholders.
- Responsibility for staff introductions, ensuring seamless integration into the team and adherence to company policies.
- Staff shadowing to ensure Health & Safety policies and procedures are upheld.
- Emergency response and rapid deployment to new packages and discharges.
- Evaluation and monitoring of care quality, reporting concerns to the area manager.
- Support and development of the care team, fostering growth and improvement.
- Collection of journal notes from clients' homes, ensuring accurate records are kept.
- Delivery of care plans, log sheets, and gloves to clients' homes as required.
- Provision of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Updating online system documentation, including reviews and spot checks.
- Developing a weekly plan, booking reviews and confirming with NOKs and clients.
- Establishing a system for completing spot checks with Healthcare staff.
- Responsibility for filing paperwork and maintaining accurate records.
- Providing support to coordinators during emergency situations, if needed.
- Attending weekly team check-ins, as required.
- Performing other reasonable duties as assigned.
- A relevant health or social care background.
- 1 year of supervisory experience in healthcare.
- Full QQI Level 5 Major Award in Healthcare Support.
- Level 6 in Supervisory Management.
- Availability to work alternative weekends.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A full clean driving license and access to a car.
