Job Opportunity

The successful candidate will oversee the installation of MEICA Projects in the Monaghan region.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Specialising in Mechanical & Electrical elements with an emphasis on commissioning.
  • Driving project delivery on site for timely completion, focusing on health & safety, cost management, and quality standards.
  • Ensuring works comply with contract documents and specifications.
  • Overseeing materials and workmanship, ensuring proper testing and adherence to standards.
  • Monitoring and reporting on works to meet Employer's Requirements.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • At least 7 years' postgraduate experience, including 4 years in site supervision, contract administration, commissioning, and project management of water/wastewater MEICA works.
  • A Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Knowledge of civil, Mechanical, & Electrical works, design-build-operate projects, and project management.
  • Ability to write clear reports and maintain records.
  • Strong health and safety knowledge and experience.
Requirements
  • Current SafePass card and Confined Spaces training.
  • Familiarity with construction contracts and Public Works forms is advantageous.

Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential for success in this role, along with the ability to work well within a team.
