Mental Health Clinical Lead Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team in a Mental Health Rehabilitation Unit in North Cork. As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality care is provided to patients.

Job Description:
  • To oversee the implementation of care plans and ensure they meet the individual needs of patients.
  • To work closely with the nursing team to maintain high standards of nursing care.
  • To participate in ward rounds and multi-professional meetings to discuss patient progress and care requirements.
  • To provide leadership and guidance to junior staff members.
  • To maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 5+ years post-qualification psychiatric nursing experience.
  • A minimum of 3+ years in a management position within psychiatric nursing.
  • Registered on, or eligible to be on, the Psychiatric Division of the relevant regulatory body.
  • Post-registration qualification in healthcare management or working towards equivalent.
  • An ability to empathise with and understand the needs of others.
