Systems Engineer

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced systems engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating global infrastructure, managing service availability, and ensuring the smooth operation of our SASE products and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate global infrastructure and manage service availability
- RMA and refresh gear as needed
- Perform server patching, upgrades, and colo migrations
- On-call and respond to security incidents in a timely manner
- Build data center solutions with Infrastructure-as-Code
- Design hybrid cloud environments for scale and integrate public cloud IaaS and physical data centers
- Work closely with SREs to ensure software components can be managed in a production-grade environment
- Server selection, qualification, and deployment
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science or related field is preferred
- System admin experience with Linux, ESXi, and development skills in Python, IaaC, Ansible, and Terraform
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and GitHub
- Understanding of L2 and L3 OSI Network Layers
- Hands-on experience with VCF stack and administrative-level understanding of Public Cloud Providers
- Capacity Management, Availability monitoring, and Tools for monitoring Pop infra (AIOPs, Wavefront, LogicMonitor, Elk stack, and saltstack)
