Factory Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Production Stores Group Leader to join our team at our state-of-the-art factory in Carrickmacross. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and improving standards, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency.
About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity for a leadership-oriented individual who is passionate about promoting a strong safety culture and driving continuous improvement. You will lead and develop a high-performing Stores team, working closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver production stream objectives aligned to business strategy and customer requirements.
- Lead a high-performing Stores team, focusing on safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Promote a proactive safety culture through training, coaching, and risk management.
- Deliver production stream objectives by implementing new and improved standards.
- Drive continuous improvement using OPEX/CI tools to reduce waste and improve reliability.
- Ensure audit readiness and compliance with SOPs, quality, and safety standards.
- Monitor KPIs, analyze data, and resolve issues through structured problem solving.
- Manage resources effectively to optimize labour, waste, and OEE performance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
- Strong background in health & safety compliance and promoting a safety-first culture.
- Practical experience with continuous improvement/OPEX tools (e.g., Lean, 5S, structured problem solving).
- Experience in process optimization, waste reduction, and improving OEE.
- Confident in data analysis, KPI tracking, and reporting.
- Skilled in performance management, including recruitment, training, and succession planning.
The working hours for this role are Monday - Thursday 12:00 midnight - 7:30am and Friday 10pm - 7:30am.
