Job Title: Home Care Specialist

This is a unique opportunity to make a positive impact in people's lives as a Home Care Specialist. As part of our team, you will provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

About the Role:
  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To assist service users who need help with daily living tasks, including personal care, mobility, and hygiene.
  • To help service users maintain their independence by promoting mental and physical activities through talking, outings, reading, writing, and hobbies.
  • To provide emotional support and companionship to service users who may be experiencing loneliness or isolation.
  • To assist with light housekeeping duties, such as making beds, cleaning, and laundry.
  • To prepare and serve meals, clearing away, and washing up.
  • To read and write reports, participate in service user reviews, and adhere to all policies and procedures.
  • To report significant changes in the health or circumstances of a service user to the relevant authorities.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Care and Support Experience:
  • A proven track record of providing high-quality care and support to vulnerable adults.
  • Communication Skills:
  • The ability to communicate effectively with service users, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Organizational Skills:
  • The ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently.
