Chief Surgical Pathologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Director to lead our Anatomic Pathology services. The ideal candidate will be board-certified in Anatomic Pathology with expertise in general surgical pathology.
Main Responsibilities- Provide strategic leadership and operational guidance for the Anatomic Pathology services
- Diagnose and interpret surgical specimens to provide accurate, timely, and clinically relevant pathology reports
- Collaborate with laboratory leaders to develop strategies and goals for the laboratory's operation and growth
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and laboratory equipment to enhance testing services
- MD or DO degree
- Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic Pathology by the American Board of Pathology
- Fellowship training in a surgical pathology subspecialty is desirable but not required
- Active or eligible for a medical license in NY
- Strong diagnostic skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage complex regulatory compliance and accreditation
