Financial Services Specialist

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for Financial Services and Compliance. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our financial services.

  • Perform comprehensive KYC/AML checks on shareholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in the annual remediation exercise to update existing client files and maintain data integrity.
  • Oversee the maintenance of investor data in our TA system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with senior management and the Risk & Compliance department to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory changes and implement new procedures as needed to maintain compliance.

Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and report high-risk clients, including Politically Exposed Persons, and collect necessary documentation to complete client files.
  • Review and respond to KYC/AML-related queries across all clients within agreed timeframes.
  • Run, review, and update KYC/AML reports and provide them to clients and regulatory authorities.
  • Contribute to AML reviews and prepare discussions as required by Compliance and the business.
Qualifications

For this position, we require:

  • A Master's degree in Business or Finance from a reputable institution.
  • Previous experience in Financial Services is highly desirable.

Language skills:

  • Fluent English with excellent writing skills.
  • Any other language, especially French, would be an asset.
