We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Site Manager to support the delivery of large-scale substation and ESBN framework projects.
About the Role:- The successful candidate will act as PIW, assigning work on ESBN systems to Approved Persons.
- Responsibilities include preparing and issuing work packs, overseeing pre-mobilisation, planning and coordinating works, sequencing, and outage requirements.
- Liaising with Stations PICWs for efficient telemessing operations is also a key aspect of this role.
- The ideal candidate will ensure compliance with all SHEQ procedures and policies.
- Management of multiple civil and electrical crews across sites is another critical responsibility.
- Overseeing quality, environmental, and safety performance on-site is essential.
- Maintaining project documentation, safety files, and variation records (CVIs) is also required.
- Handling additional works such as faults or scope changes is a necessary skill.
- Conducting regular quality and health & safety audits is an important part of this role.
- A qualified electrician with supervisory experience on 33kV+ live substations is essential.
- Strong communication and organisational skills are required.
- Fluent in spoken and written English is also necessary.
- ESB induction training will be provided.
- PIW certification will be offered.
- SafePass certification will also be available.
