Production Supervisor Opportunity

This role involves leading production teams to achieve key performance indicators and objectives. You will be responsible for ensuring that all operations are carried out safely, efficiently, and in line with established procedures.

  • Supervise production teams to ensure they meet production targets and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain a culture of safety and quality within the team by promoting safe working practices and encouraging continuous improvement.
  • Manage production schedules, resources, and inventory to minimize downtime and optimize output.
  • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance overall performance.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports on production activities, including metrics such as productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, and quality control to resolve issues and drive business results.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of production team members.
  • Monitor and report on team performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements:

  • 5 years' experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Proven track record of driving process improvements, reducing costs, and increasing efficiency.
  • Knowledge of lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies (desired).
  • Physical stamina to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
