Operations Shift Specialist

This role involves contributing to the development and production of veterinary vaccines. The company, a Centre of Excellence with over 1000 employees, requires an Operations Shift Specialist to join their team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and compliance in production documentation and Master Batch Records / Electronic Batch Records. This includes reviewing and approving documents such as electronic batch records and logbooks, as well as new and updated SOPs/ Work Instructions and Controlled Job Aides.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Review/approval of new and updated Master Batch Records / Electronic Batch Records
  • Review and approval of production documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with cGMPs and company procedures
  • Review and approval of new and updated SOPs/ Work Instructions and Controlled Job Aides
  • QA support, review, and approval of Commissioning and Qualification lifecycle documents for capital projects and new equipment


The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GMP Manufacturing, Quality Assurance or Laboratory environment, Pharmaceutical/Biological Quality, Operations, Technical, or Regulatory function supporting manufacturing or laboratory operations. They will also have expertise in at least 5 years of working knowledge in the biotech industry, with a specific understanding of QA operations and regulatory agency engagement. Additionally, they should have a strong understanding of quality systems, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or laboratory processes, authoring and approving GMP documents.
