About the Role

Our team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Utilities Engineer to join our dynamic operations - we offer a competitive hourly rate and a comprehensive onboarding process.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the commissioning and qualification of clean utility systems, including purified water systems, WFI (Water for Injection), clean steam generators, and other critical utilities.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive commissioning protocols, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate clean utility systems seamlessly into facility operations.
  • Develop and implement validation plans, protocols, and reports for clean utility systems to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective and preventive actions to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Perform periodic reviews and audits to verify the continued validation status of clean utility systems.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to clean utility systems through thorough troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Implement optimization strategies to enhance the efficiency and performance of clean utilities while maintaining compliance.
  • Prepare and review documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), validation reports, and other relevant documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Clean Utilities Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including cGMP, FDA, and other relevant standards.
Required Skills
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Proven ability to work independently and make informed decisions to support clean utility operations.
