Fresh Food Manager


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fresh Food Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our Deli Department, providing excellent customer service, and driving sales and margin growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leadership: To inspire, lead, and motivate employees through support and development.
  2. Customer Service: To provide exceptional customer service, building a loyal customer base.
  3. Operations: To ensure the efficient and effective operation of the Deli Department, minimizing waste and shrink.
  4. Innovation: To research and implement new ideas for fresh food innovation, staying up-to-date with industry trends.
  5. Training: To train new employees in the deli department, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 2 years' experience in a Supervisor/Manager role, preferably in the fresh food industry.
  • 1 year's experience in a role with in-depth knowledge of fresh food, including ordering and stock management.
  • Experience in achieving sales targets and KPIs, as well as managing gross profit and margins.
  • Fully trained in HACCP and food safety, with experience in meeting regulatory requirements.
  • Good numerical skills, ability to roster, and budget management.
