The Project Management function manages business unit projects or programs to successful outcomes.

This role aligns resources, oversees budgets, works with senior stakeholders, implements program governance, creates project plans, and tracks key milestones, risks, and dependencies.

As the key coordinator, this person ensures the implementation of critical business capabilities or regulatory changes.

They manage large-scale enterprise-wide programs with multiple projects and work streams, involving delivery of strategic business capabilities or regulatory changes that impact multiple business units or disciplines.

The focus of this role is on executing programs initiated to deliver changes in the strategic direction of business function activities; expansion of critical business capabilities or implementation of cross-business unit regulatory changes.

Managers implement complex initiatives involving multiple disciplines and ambiguous issues, displaying a balanced, cross-functional perspective.

They liaise with the business and technology to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and productivity, communicating program objectives, risks, issues, and status to multiple levels of the organization, including senior stakeholders.

Facilitating cross-discipline coordination for decision-making regarding scope, prioritization, and issue resolution, they implement and manage overall program governance, chairing meetings at multiple levels, and producing relevant reporting.

This ideal candidate should have:

  • Excellent communication skills, verbal, non-verbal, and written
  • In-depth functional, technical, and/or industry knowledge
  • Highly flexible and adaptable to change
  • Leadership and organizational skills to determine program goals, structure, budget, and resource needs
  • People management skills to manage all situations, liaison, and delegate
  • Teamwork skills to drive execution without direct reporting line responsibilities
  • Independent and proactive self-starter
  • Seasoned expert with program/project management expertise
  • Technical and/or business knowledge developed through previous industry experience
  • Experience managing budgets and forecasting financials
  • High-level presentation skills to senior stakeholders
  • Waterfall and agile methodology experience required
