Senior Derivative Expert

This role involves providing support to the Data, Analytics, Reporting and Technology team within a leading trading organization. As a Quantitative Risk Analyst, you will collaborate with US-based teams while working from Dublin.
The Data and Analytics team provides quantitative and analytical support to product businesses, relationship managers, and independent risk management functions.
This position is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the risk management framework across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform exposure calculations on structured and exotic derivative products across market and asset classes.
- Develop ad-hoc models in Python for new products and structures.
- Create comprehensive model documentation to support future model validation efforts.
- Contribute to validation of existing models and ensure alignment with market dynamics.
- Manage analytical tool projects and resolve production issues raised by risk managers.
- Relevant years of experience in a quantitative role within financial or consulting services.
- Comprehensive understanding of derivatives' risk, modeling, and pricing.
- Strong product knowledge of derivative structures across asset classes.
- Knowledge of market and credit risk management techniques is desirable.
