Job Title: Professional Regulatory Senior Associate

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned solicitor to join our highly regarded Public, Regulatory and Investigations team as a Professional Regulatory Senior Associate.

The ideal candidate will have strong general experience in litigation and professional regulatory or healthcare law, with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and prepare complaints for oral hearings before fitness to practise committees, including taking witness statements, briefing experts, briefing counsel, and attending oral hearings.

  • Draft legal documents, such as notices of inquiry, special summonses, terms of undertakings, affidavits of service, etc.

  • Case manage disciplinary hearings and High Court confirmation applications.

  • Provide regulatory advice to protect the interests of the regulators represented.

  • Ongoing mentoring and training of junior lawyers, as appropriate.

  • Work proactively and collaboratively within a team environment.
