Core Network Engineer Position

">Job Summary">

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Core Network Engineer to lead the delivery of designs for NFVI Infrastructure, EPC, 5G Core, IoT Slice, and DNS Core flows.

  • Responsible for ensuring timely and effective capacity management solutions to drive cost-effective growth.
  • Drive through Core Design deliveries from Solution Design through High Level Design, Low Level Designs, Databuild, and to successful handover into Core Operations for implementation.
  • Lead design deliveries for Mobile Core elements and interface with other network elements within the wider core network architecture.
  • Collaborate with Core and RAN design and operations teams to ensure end-to-end design management and prioritization of business needs.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">

Our ideal candidate will have a degree in an Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science discipline, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 5 years of experience in packet core network design and lifecycle management is required, including experience working on performance and capacity management projects.

Excellent knowledge of Mobile Core networks architecture, elements, and associated protocols is essential, as well as good understanding of IoT technologies. Excellent communication skills are necessary for engaging with different areas of the business at varying levels of technical capability.
