
Scientific Instrument Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Scientific Instrument Support Specialist to install, test and qualify analytical instruments from leading manufacturers.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing preventative and corrective maintenance, validation and qualification of instruments, as well as supporting customers technically at their sites in Ireland and Northern Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, perform performance testing and qualification of analytical instruments
- Provide preventative and corrective maintenance, validation and qualification of instruments
- Support customers technically at their sites in Ireland and Northern Ireland
- Collaborate with sales engineers and office coordinators
Requirements:
- A qualification in science, electro-mechanical technology, electronics or engineering is essential
- Recent graduates and those with some experience will be considered
- Desirable: Experience with optics, gas/vacuum technologies, fluidics
Languages and communication:
- Fluent English is essential
- Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
Technical requirements:
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Windows is essential
Other requirements:
- A full, clean driving license is required
- A current passport and willingness to travel for training
