Job Opportunity

Description:

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician with strong background in refrigeration systems, including heat pumps.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Commission heat pump systems
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on heat pump equipment
  • Carry out scheduled and reactive maintenance work to ensure system performance
  • Supervise junior technicians and provide technical guidance when required
  • Liaise with project engineers and customers for high-quality service delivery
  • Complete accurate service records and documentation
  • Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with F-Gas regulations, health and safety standards, and company procedures

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Refrigeration Technician qualification (Level 6 or equivalent)
  • F-Gas certification
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in refrigeration and/or heat pump systems
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • Clean driving license (company vehicle provided)
  • Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and technical manuals
  • Good communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with R290 or CO₂-based systems
  • Familiarity with building management systems (BMS) and system controls
