Multi Drop Delivery Driver Job Description

This role is a critical part of our operations, responsible for delivering customer orders in the Galway region and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a valid driver's license and digital tachograph card.

We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service, resolve queries, and meet established accuracy levels.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing multi-drop delivery services to customers in the Galway region and surrounding areas.
  • Delivering customer orders on multiple drops, accurately and on time.
  • Resolving customer queries wherever possible.
  • Checking and completing all invoices and paperwork on time and within specification.
  • Completing daily checks on vehicles and loads.
  • Adhering to Basic Food Safety requirements.
  • Building excellent customer relationships.
  • Meeting or exceeding established accuracy levels.
  • Reporting damages, accidents, and issues relating to Food Safety.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A valid Category C driving license.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • A valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Card.
  • A digital tachograph card.
  • The knowledge and initiative to solve basic problems and make routine decisions.
  • The ability to complete paperwork in an orderly fashion.
  • Fluent English Language Skills.
  • Good organisational and prioritising skills to complete tasks on time.
  • Leadership skills.
Desirable Criteria

While not essential, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Previous experience as a Multi Drop Delivery Driver.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Temperature controlled experience.
