We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Estimator to lead our project estimating process.
Key Responsibilities:- Reviewing detailed drawings, specifications, and tender documents to accurately assess project requirements
- Preparing comprehensive and competitive cost estimates across labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors
- Visiting project sites as needed to assess conditions and gather critical information
- Obtaining and evaluating bids from qualified subcontractors and suppliers
- Producing detailed take-offs, cost breakdowns, and pricing documentation
- Identifying potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost savings
- Assisting in the development of tender submissions and client presentations
- Staying up-to-date on industry trends, construction methods, and pricing strategies
- A minimum of 34 years post-grad experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Estimator in fit-out / construction
- A strong understanding of estimating, cost management, and contract administration principles
- Proficiency with software such as Evaluate and Procore
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
