Nursing Home Director Role

We are seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead our nursing home in Ireland. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing and adhering to company standards and HIQA recommendations.
  • Monitoring clinical practice and developing personalised care plans for residents.
  • Conducting regular internal audits and following up on outcomes.
  • Providing staff induction and continued training and development.
  • Encouraging creative practices and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the home.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A qualified RGN with at least 3 years' experience in the care of older persons within the last 6 years.
  • A post-registration management qualification in health or a related field.
  • No less than 3 years' experience in a management capacity in the health and social care area.
  • You should be registered on the appropriate part of the NMBI live register.
