About Us

We are seeking a qualified Chartered Psychologist to join our team. As a Chartered Psychologist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions to children and adolescents with developmental needs.

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, social, and behavioral functioning of children and adolescents.">
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions.">
  • Collaborate closely with other members of the multidisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, speech and language therapists, and educational psychologists, to ensure integrated and holistic care for clients.">

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • ">
  • A recognized university degree or diploma (QQI Level 8 equivalent) with first or second-class honors, where psychology is taken as a major subject and honors are obtained in that subject.">
  • A postgraduate qualification in clinical psychology or a related field from an Irish university or an equivalent qualification from another jurisdiction, validated by the Department of Health and recognized by the Psychological Society of Ireland.">
  • At least 60 days (or equivalent) of supervised clinical placements in appropriate health settings in both areas of child disability and child psychology as part of your postgraduate professional qualification if required.">
  • Registration with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI) as a Chartered Psychologist.">
  • A minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in clinical practice, preferably working with children and adolescents.">
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting psychological assessments and providing evidence-based recommendations for a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioral difficulties.">
