Procurement Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to support the purchasing and stock control functions for our organization.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing and terms, building strong rapport with suppliers, and reporting regularly to management on purchasing activities and stock performance. Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring stock levels and processing stock orders
  • Sourcing new products and ensuring accurate and efficient stock control at all times

To be considered for this role, candidates should have:

  • Previous experience in a procurement or similar role
  • Strong stock control skills with a keen eye for accuracy and efficiency
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective supplier relationships
  • Confident negotiation skills to achieve best value
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)

Key qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Relevant certifications or training in procurement
